“When you have so much turnover, the risk is that people are seen as fungible. You know that tomorrow you’re going to look around and some people are going to have left the company or been managed out.”

turnover | Longman Dictionary

  1. [British English] the amount of business done during a particular period
  2. the rate at which a particular kind of goods is sold
  3. the rate at which people leave an organization and are replaced by others
  4. a small fruit pie

“When you have so much turnover, the risk is that people are seen as fungible. You know that tomorrow you’re going to look around and some people are going to have left the company or been managed out.”
