お見舞いカードなどによく書かれている「Get well soon.」の意味とは？

今週はジェガーさんの体調があまりよくありませんでした。毎日1度は電話をかけてくるジェガーママも、それを知って心配そうな様子。



ピロリロとジェガーさんの携帯が鳴って、「あったぶんテキストや、ごめん代わりに読んで」と言われて見ると、ジェガーママから “Get well soon.” というメッセージが届いていました。

ポイント

“Get well soon.” は「早く良くなりますように」「お大事に」という意味です。

補足

昨日アンジェリーナ・ジョリーの両乳腺切除（double mastectomy）に関する記事を紹介しましたが、Twitter でも多くの人が反応していて、#GetWellSoonAngie（アンジーお大事に）というハッシュタグもできていました。

オスカー女優のオクタヴィア・スペンサー（@octaviaspencer）もそのハッシュタグを付けてツイートしています。
